1/23/22 Q'ed 93k historical military fiction. Her form is thorough. That's probably why her responses are speedy, and her requests are "full."

Query Submitted Jan 13
Form Rejection Jan 20
I didn't find her form to be too unusual, as some of the comments state. For the agents queried info, I just presented the individuals queried within the last month. Appreciated the speedy turnaround for sure!

Query submitted 1/8/2022 (sci fi, 103k words) and I was afraid after seeing the comments below but I found the query form to be pretty standard. I've had to answer the same questions for a handful of other agents and didn't find anything that gave me a red flag.

Update: 1/14/2022 query rejected. Nice short form letter

I queried her for my fantasy. Completing her form was brutal as she asked for so much information. My story matched everything on her MSWL and I don't think she read my query at all since the response was almost automatic. Never had to provide a marketing plan upfront, which strikes me as suspicious. I think marketing discussions are best discussed on a call to fully understand each other's perspectives, especially since I'm an author based in the UK. My approach would be different to a USA resident. The set-up of the form made me think this agent is very particular and may only like things done their way, so I wasn't very optimistic about my chances but you never know.

I hope everyone else has better luck! Congrats in advance if you get an offer of representation

I sent in a query for my YA dystopian novel on 1/1. For the query question, I put the people I queried in the past month and a half. Hope that helps!

The formatting on their website for wishlists is just brutal on the eyes. And this part of her form seemed absolutely absurd to me:

"Have you queried this manuscript to other agents/publishing editors? If so, please list agents/editors, dates of queries, whether the query is still outstanding and/or result of query." Mind you, this is a required section on her form, meaning you can't submit the query without putting things here.

She... really expects people to go through their query backlogs and basically hand her a spreadsheet?
