pacatrue and anyone else who's wondering how to find out anything about the CAA agents:

You have to begin their submission process before you can find the agent bios. Click from the website to go to their Submittable, make a Submittable account if you don't have one, fill out the first page which is address and phone number (they don't need that info at the query stage; doesn't everyone know that writers barely answer known callers much less unknown ones, but whatever), and continue until you get to the page where they ask you to paste your title, genre/age category, and query letter. Under the query field is a list of agent bios, and you're required to choose one from a dropdown.

You also have to accept their privacy policy or whatever they call it, so they're covering their butts against claims of stolen ideas, etc.

FYI if you received a rejection from another CAA agent, check who sent it. I queried Alex and received a rejection from Lola. I realized this after sending another submission to Lola, so I withdrew it.

Almost sounds like they're going to steal my story idea. Or I could just be paranoid.

@Pacatrue - I submitted the first week of December, so I do not recall the site exactly...but in the submittable site there is a full list of all the literary agents, what they rep and what they are looking for. I recall going there to query Mollie, and reading all their manuscript wishlists. -- I chose Lola based on what she wrote. If you go to submittable you should be able to see her wishlist. You chose an agent when you submit on the scroll down menu. She is building her list.

It's extremely difficult to find information about CAA and WME agents to know what they are looking for. Lola has a Twitter, but she doesn't seem to use it. (https://mobile.twitter.com/lola_bellier). According to Reddit, she has been Mollie Glick's assistant. I'd love to know more about her mswl, but she's otherwise invisible online. Anyone know anything?
