I had gotten an email from an assistant requesting the full. Not sure what this means but said she would get back to me in a few weeks.
Update: Nudged politely to see if she's read it yet. No response yet.

Agency requests "List of Comparative Titles." Does this mean published works by other authors whose book(s) are similar to yours in theme, setting, characters, etc.? Also requests lists of published works (I have none except a self-published book, which I won't mention to them, of course) and submissions to other publishers (none, because hardly any of them accept submissions directly from authors.) I try to be sensitive to the challenges faced by agents, but trying to meet the standards which vary from agency to agency can be discouraging. Some want three pages, some ten ages, some first chapter; it's really a chore for me to prepare samples - copy and paste - for inclusion in the query with such varying guidelines.

deebza, you're not an idiot. it's better, I think, to take your time submitting the mss so you're sure it's in the best shape possible. Good luck!!!

@earupert For what it's worth, she reps a writer who won the Bram Stoker award. She's not an agent for the famous dead guy.
