I received an R&R last May for a different novel, and queried for my current one in a different genre a few days ago, mentioning of course that I want to work with someone who handles both genres. (I only just started the R&R on the first one.) Brenna (Paul's assistant) requested a full this morning.

So it seems like Ms. English-Loeb is his assistant. She favorited a tweet of mine from #DVpit and requested that I send it via Janklow's submission email, but to mark it as being for her. Interested to see how this goes, since she's not a full agent. Maybe they're letting her take on some clients, or maybe she was scouting for Mr. Lucas?

I guess I'll mark my progress here.

EQ - 6/1/17
PR - 6/9/17 Email from Brenna (Paul's assistant) requesting 100 pages
ER - 10/13/17 (after nudge) Semi-personalized rejection. Too long for genre, UF hard sell right now, didn't connect with the MC enough.

CNR / withdrawn from consideration on 8/31/17: agency guidelines show he's not interested in romance or erotica, which is a fair part of what I do besides SFF.
