I love when I get rejected twice by the same agency - I didn't submit again, but I got 2 rejection from Munier, via Tianna.
Just to make sure... we really, really, don't want it.

Uh, ok.

This Tianna seems to be an intern. Most agents insist they don’t use interns to read manuscripts.

I think Tianna is all alone. One thing I’ve noticed is that when the agent works in an agency with other agents he/she always uses the singular, “ I didn’t feel it was a fit for me.” But when it’s a one man show the agent always uses first person plural. “We don’t feel this project is right for us.”

A personalized rejection! I'm actually kind of stoked, especially since this is a first from this agent/agency for me. Normally I CNR these things, but this time I got great feedback.

Literary mystery/crime

This was an interesting one - seemed like it was personalized, with feedback about the sample (and why it didn't work). I'll have to chew on that one for awhile. Also said they were only taking stuff on that needed next to no revision.

I got a rejection letter 9 months after submitting (sent from Tianna, who I am assuming is an assistant). BUT I got some helpful and greatly appreciated feedback.

ksommerlot - that's fantastic! Took a while, yes, but still! Congratulations. :-)

Congratulations to TaniaHagan, too!

Well I apparently queried in June of 2018.... and I just got a rejection letter today, March 14th, 2019. Like, I know people get backed up, but nine months to say no? Really?

Paula answered my query within twenty-four hours with an offer to represent.

Although I had a total of four agents who offered representation, Paula was the first. I decided to work with her because of her profile.

She’s a knowledgeable agent who really goes to bat for her authors.

Submitted the day the notice on her website said she reopened to queries (1-21-19), but got a form letter saying she was still closed. There's still a message on the site saying she will reopen on 1-21, so I don't know if I should requery or not - I've no idea if she got the query, and I don't want to be a nuisance, so I'm counting it as a CNR.
Update 3-4-19 - decided to resend my query, so I reset the clock on the query tracker. They do say you can touch base if you haven't heard anything in four weeks, so I'm hoping this is the right thing to do.

Had originally closed this as a CNR on 10/13/18
Received a surprise partial request in my inbox today, 208 days after my initial query. Will send through, but that's a heckuva backlog? Partial request was from an assistant.

@Yamisui -- That's a form letter. I received a similar form yesterday on a mid-2018 query with first chapter, 75% and all is the same, but "talented storyteller / writer" was used 3x instead of "interesting premise" etc., and Tia Mele suggested I work with a line editor to improve my craft. My form ended: "Again, you are a talented writer, and as you work on your craft and polish, polish, polish you are bound to succeed." Feel good stuff, but not helpful when it's form.
