EQ: 3/31/17

11k children's chapter book

Sent a personal response that while she loved what I sent her, she's doesn't usually rep chapter books, and felt I should find an agent who does.

EQ: 5/3/17
ER: 6/12/17
56k YA

Sent another personal response that this time she admired the complexity of the plot but couldn't connect with the character.

I believe she's still closed, cassbrush. I interacted with her in early April over a manuscript I had revised and she had previously read; I re-queried her about my revision before I realized she had closed. She felt she couldn't take another look and apologized for the delay citing personal reasons. So I don't think there's been a change.

Anyone know if she's open again? Her PM seems to say that she's open to queries, and she last updated the page within the past couple weeks, but I can't seem to find any other info and she hasn't tweeted in a few months.

Noting the comments below, I would guess that I will soon receive a similar note saying that she is not really open. Oh well.

Yup, got my note. I think I'll erase this from the time line, as it isn't really a rejection or CNR or anything else. Anyone think there's a better way to mark it?

I got the same e-mail today, from a query sent at the end of October.

EQ 10/23/16 (when she was open--I thought--to queries)

ER 1/23/17: Thank you so much for your query, though I am replying to it unread. Due to personal circumstances as well as the demands of my current list, I am not requesting new manuscripts at this time. Please know that I appreciate the time you devoted to researching who best to query. It is an honor to have made your list of possible representatives, and I hope you find an agent who feels equally honored to represent you. I hope to be open to queries later this year, though I cannot say exactly when that will be and would recommend you seek out one of my equally talented colleagues at ICM or outside the agency. My apologies in advance for being unable to offer specific suggestions as to who best that may be.

Just received an email from Tina that she is NOT open for queries.

I think nearly all of them are closed to unsolicited queries but Tina is open. Her submission guidelines are on her PW profile.

I must be blind, but can anybody point out where the submissions guidelines are at It seems curiously devoid of any of the normal links.
