Sent snail mail query early August to Robert for YA novel. Rec'd email request for a full last week (Oct 22) from Claire. I hope Robert us behind the request! I met him at WLT and liked him.

From the Bewares section of Absolute Write:

"I'd like to add to those who've posted that Guinsler is a "bad communicator." He's not just bad - he's awful. As a client, he seldom takes your phone calls or calls back, and good luck getting him to respond to an email. Unless your project sells in mere seconds, expect never to hear from him again."

Possibly something to note. Sounds like a client wasn't happy!

(Full Disclaimer, I've never queried him, but I am Bored At Work and I've had this happen last I was agented so QED)

Snail Q 10/19/14
CNR 1/12/14

Upper middle grade urban fantasy

Update, 7/20/2015: Merciful query gods, I finally got a response, in the SASE I'd sent. Form rejection from Brian Egan, Guinsler's assistant, dated 7/17. Received 274 days after query. Makes me wonder whether Egan was just hired, and his first task was to go through Guinsler's 20 foot stack of neglected queries.
