Memoir
This one was tough, as I really got my hopes up... she emailed me the day after she received my ms to say that she was enjoying it and to please let her know if I receive any offers. I was over the moon! Thought I'd hear soon, but 3 weeks later, rejection with no feedback, other than "You clearly are a talented writer, but this is not for me." I am certainly appreciative of the talented writer compliment, but wish i knew why it's not for her... oh well, on to the next.

EQ: 7/17
PR: 7/18, she's fast! Requested the first 50 pages, sent same day. She confirmed receipt 7/19.
ER: 7/20 Form rejection, not for her (she misspelled the title of my book lol)

I only just now found out that Julia is an assistant, and she's an assistant to Sarah Burnes, who rejected my manuscript when I first queried it last year. If I had known she was Sarah's assistant, I wouldn't have bothered. That definitely explains why she rejected it so quickly.
