Awesome agent. Really smart. (He went to Princeton.) Loves quirky books! Very helpful, however, is kinda picky, but that just makes his choices better and he ends up doing really well for me and for himself. Been in the firm for a long time. A very experienced agent.

Another "super-fast" agent who more than likely doesn't actually read the queries lol.

EQ: 6/12/17, literary murder, 89,500 words. Can't find much about this agent online. He represents Joyce Carol Oates and seems interested in quirky, plot-driven lit fic.

What do you think it means when the agent skips your query. Especially one who seems to reply to most fairly quickly? Anyone?

Queried: 2-24-2017 High fantasy/magical realism (94k words).
Replied: 2-27-2017 Received a polite rejection:
"Many thanks for your note. [Title of novel] doesn't seem quite right for me, but I'm sure other agents will feel differently. I wish you the best of luck elsewhere and many thanks again for the opportunity to read your work."
