Queried with referral, FR after four days. But did say she is swamped and could be several months to hear back.

They state on their web page that they don't accept many new authors. This is probably a reach.

Your search filter is screwed up. This agent, along with several others doesn't represent suspense/thrillers.

Rarely accepts new authors, and usually only through referrals according to their website.

Polite rejection saying the novel sounds fascinating but they're swamped.

I haven't started submitting queries yet, but as I am Canadian and am used to sending stories to American publishers/magazines, let me tell you all about International Reply Coupons. That is what you need to get when you send anything to another country. Not all post offices either have them or have ever heard of them, but they are there and it's what you need to get. Obviously American postage doesn't work in Canada or other countries, just as I couldn't send along Canadian stamps when I send something to the States. International Reply Coupons, for future reference. :)
