Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

"Your story was inspiring and multi-layered, and I was very much compelled by the emotional nuances that you managed to portray. However, after much consideration, I regret to say that your project isn't right for my list at this time. Ultimately, I just couldn't connect with the writing style. Of course, this is a subjective business and another reader may very well feel differently. To that end, I wish you the best in finding enthusiastic representation because you absolutely deserve it!"

EQ + first chapter: 4/28/15
I had closed this one out ages ago, but was surprised with a FR today: 7/13.
R with thoughtful critique: 7/29

I'm not sure if it's part of the their form template for full rejections, but even after she said it was a pass, I was invited to submit a revised version in the future. I disagreed with some of the more foundational critiques (they were good points, but in conflict with my vision for my book), so even if this was some cryptic R&R request, I'm going to call it a rejection for now. Anybody else get strange mixed messages on rejected fulls?
