Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

Nice rejection a week after submission for a cookbook.

Nice idea, but I can't take on.
All best,

I'm a bit confused here. Her QT genres (presumably as of 3/15/09) are listed as "Mystery, Thrillers/Suspense and Women's Fiction", yet on their Publishers Marketplace site it says they're not accepting fiction! What's up with that? I'd like to query Ms. Meyers, but I'd prefer not to tag myself as a fool by sending something she doesn't rep.

UPDATE: I sent them an e-mail, received this reply: "No fiction for us. Thanks for asking."

Better fix that, Patrick.

Thanks Lannie. Since it would be impossible for me to keep up with each agent and their many changes, I do appreciate QT members letting me know when something has changed. Without you, it would be an impossible task.
