Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Query Guidelines

Include approximately fifty pages of your manuscript, or your non-fiction proposal in its entirety.

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

Just a warning to you all.
Snail mail query 2/11/12
Exclusive requested by phone 3/21/12

As of 5/28/13 Never responded, after multiple nudges and agency wouldn't return manuscript, even though I had sent SASE.

Requeried Mitchell via snail mail, since his email address didn't work. I didn't get a response to my Chain Reaction query or nudge last year. Chapters have been revised. Last shot at this.

Bummer my friend. Yeah mine didn't have a signature either. Oh well.

7/31/12, I sent him a query for Chain Reaction. Two weeks ago, I nudged him and got an ooo response. Closed/no response. Requery him in 2013, will try Maureen in December.

I called it, Angelscribe!
I have to say that after sending my query, a synopsis and two chapters, all printed on good paper, I think I was due at least a signature. The card didn't even have Waters' name on it.

Ah well, at least the world didn't end today.

Thanks Edelweiss. I'll cross my fingers for you.

Sorry, Angel. I queried him the same day so I will be looking forward to my postcard soon!

On 4/18, I've sent him a query. Today I've gotten a postcard rejection-"he doesn't feel he's the right agent..." Ugh! I'll try Laura Peterson next month.
