Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

The website says response times are between 2-4 weeks, but it took her 7 weeks to get to mine. Guess it's a good thing I didn't close it out :)

Thank you for your inquiry. We are not the right agency for your work and wish you the best in your publishing endeavors. Due to the volume of emails we receive, we are not able to offer comments.

CTScott, I queried her last year and I included an actual synopsis (pasted in the email). Not sure if that's right, but that's what I did. (She rejected, so there's that.) Afraid that's not much help.

Ms. Rinaldi's website says she wants a brief synopsis. Does anyone know if that means a one paragraph synopsis in the query letter, or just the synopsis and no query letter? Would appreciate any comments in this regard.
