Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

"Dear Author,

Thank you for submitting your query letter to Trident Media Group. This email is to confirm the receipt of your query letter. Please do not respond directly to this email; the person you sent your query letter to will consider your query letter. If you do not receive a response within thirty (30) days of the receipt of this email, then the Trident agent has determined that he or she will not be able to represent you. After the expiration of a 30-day period, following a submission to a Trident agent, you may make a submission to another agent at Trident. Multiple submissions made within a thirty-day period will automatically be blocked."

Does anyone know if Scott Miller is a no response on fulls sort of agent? I didn't think he was, but he's had mine for five months. I figure it's a no, but I would've thought he'd have sent a quick form R by now.
