Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

I noticed she's no longer on their Website and I found this after a quick google search:

Egmont USA has appointed Andrea Cascardi to the new combined role of managing director and publisher.

Cascardi joins from the Transatlantic Literary Agency, where she has represented authors and illustrators including Newbery winner Clare Vanderpool. Before that, she was a children's publisher, beginning in the editorial department at Houghton Mifflin and most recently as associate publishing director at Random House Children's Books for the Knopf and Crown imprints.

Managing director at Egmont Press, Cally Poplak, who has been managing the US business from London, said: "I'm delighted that Andrea is joining us to take on this new combined role. She has the strategic vision, business experience and creative background to accelerate Egmont's growth in the US, and I'm very much looking forward to working with her to build on our first few years.
