From the events planner: Of course, I was already familiar with your book because we had it reviewed in the last issue of NMIA's American Intelligence Journal. I personally read your book myself before farming it out to a reviewer, because as I may have mentioned to you I served in Bamberg, Germany, 1970-73 in a tank battalion and could easily identify with many of the people/units/situations you talk about in your
highly engaging book. I don't normally read entire volumes that I pass out to reviewers, but in this case I did and
thoroughly enjoyed your work. I loved the photos--so many memories!
