Ah, thanks.  I'll put something together this weekend.    ;D

Are you serious? Can I join, if I promise never to submit anything for review? That got me in trouble once before. The Women Romance Writers of Memphis kicked me out of their group, after I offered up my novel, ATTACK OF THE CHIGGERS, as probably my best effort to date.

Setting up the speakeasy as we speak...     :wine:

Anyone who wants to join the party, send me your email address and your genre, and I'll get you set up.

I've sent out evites to River and Jmundy-castle.  When you join, have a look under the 'Database' and 'Files' links on the left side of the panel.  I've put a chapter in there, to show you how to set up your work to be critiqued.

For the rest of you, I'll need your email addresses to send you an invitation.

Question... :emb: So how does a critique group work exactly? Do you give critiques to all members, and if yes is there a general time frame?

For now, everything is strictly voluntary.  You can choose what chapters to critique and how often, as well as how often to submit chapters for critiquing.  This is to keep people from forcing themselves to suffer through a genre that's of no interest of them, just to fill an artificial quota.

Bodwen, I sent you my email address through the QT personal message thingy, hopefully you're receiving those. Thank you so much for organizing us! Let me know if I can help in any possible way.

Is this a private party? If not, I'm dying for a genre appropriate CP Group! My genre is Mature YA/NA Romantic Thriller-Suspense. MS complete at 81K.

Thanks all.  It's done through Yahoo Groups, and the Group is called "The QT Speakeasy" on account of its private and exclusive nature.

I've had reports of people not getting invitations, so I sent out a new batch to everyone who's given me their email address.  Hopefully I haven't made it so private and exclusive that I can't invite anyone!

Just checked my cs.ricketts27@gamil.com and I did not receive an invite. I even checked my Spam folder. Can you resend?

Thanks,

Ok, so maybe because I misspelled gmail. Ha, ha, ha! But seriously, I still didn't get it. Would it help if I send you an email? Let me know.

Thanks again!
