I’m submitting a 75,000-word mystery since you represent mysteries. Think, “Criminal Minds meets Curious George”, where George is a rabid, peeping-Tom monkey, who eventually kills the people he spies on. Actually, this is more like Poe’s “Murders in the Rue Morgue.” You know, that story where the murderer turns out to be an ape on the loose in Paris? So maybe, instead of, “Criminal Minds meets Curious George”, you should think, oh, never mind. I’m just not good at writing queries.

Sorry I can’t attach the first five pages as your guidelines require. My dog ate them.

Dear Author,

     Please don't blame George for his idiosyncrasies . Ever since he stole my copy of "I am Curious (Yellow)" and started smoking crack with the organ grinder down the street, he seems to have lost his way a bit.
