Partial request

So I received a partial request from Harvey Klinger. I'm very interested in him being my agent. He read the first five pages before requesting the partial.
It's one thing when just any agent wants a partial, but it is even more difficult when it's an agent that you genuinely want an offer of representation from. Anyone sent a partial to him? How did it go?

That's one I've never sent a partial too, but really, there are too many variables for you to compare your experience with others to get a good an idea of what to expect. Keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best. Keep writing in the meantime. Good luck!

I think that’s great and I’m anxiously waiting to hear what happens for you! Partially because I just started sending out queries two weeks ago for my Lit Fic novel and the day after I sent out only the query and no pages, I received a request for pages from Mr. Klinger. Haven’t heard anything yet.

I sincerely hope he goes for yours! And mine, too!
