Hello Group.....

I've just posted another promo for QT at a website called EONS. At the risk of THIS message being marked spam by certain unnamed users  wink2, I will include the URL below so Patrick can track the click-thru's. I hope it helps. I'll duck back into the shadows now to avoid the inevitable hail of barbs from the resident spam hunters.  wag

Thank you Jon.  I  appreciate you braving these dangerous waters, although I think Lilly has been relatively tame lately.  I will let you know if any action comes from your links.  One problem with this one though, it does not lead to QT, it goes to myspace instead.

Or maybe not.  I just got word from someone else who tried the link and it works for them.  I don't understand why it is not working for me.  I've tried it in both Firefox and IE7.  It is a redirect and not a direct link, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I'm curious, if anyone else tries this link let me know what happens.

Patrick...

I posted a corrected link straight to the QT main page, so that should resolve the problem. Sorry 'bout that. EONS is for people over 50, so I must have had an "old-timer's" moment. My bad... crazy

I don't think it was you.  I think it has something to do with the way Eon is doing the redirect.  The only thing I can think of is that my security program is not allowing the redirect to happen. Weird.  Oh well.  Thanks for the link.

Patrick:

Yep, it was my booboo. I copied the blurb for EONS from the one that I had installed at MySpace. That's why it didn't work properly. Lesson learned.

Wow Miss Java.  You must really like that canned Spam stuff.  That's what you meant, right?

I still can't get Jon's link to work for me, but others say it is fine.  I just don't get it?

Yup, this was my third year doing Nano, and my third hitting 50K. And this year was a first. I joined NaNoFiMo and actually finished the entire novel this time.

That's not the one I'm querying, though. I'm leaving that one to percolate in rough draft for a while. In the meantime I'm querying for a previous novel I wrote.

I'm in Colorado, btw.

karatebum, I saw your post over on NaNo for QT.  It has already brought in a couple new members.  Thanks.

I regularly recommend querytracker over at the Hatrack River Forum where a lot of writers hang out. It's my standard comment when finding an agent comes up. Smiley

Thank you Jeane.  Your efforts are not wasted.  I've heard tell of several new members come from Hatrack.  Hatrack is somehow associated with Orson Scott Card, isn't it?
