Hi Munley,

Red is a rejection, green means the agent requested a manuscript and purple indicates the agent offered representation. There's a list of all the icons at https://querytracker.net/icon-legend.php

Thanks. I was thrown off by the mere half-smile on the side, compared by the big, open smile on the green one.

I thought it might be a writer declaring a CNR after holding her/his breath for months, waiting for a reply to a partial or full.

Oh wow, that would be a great explanation for the purple wouldn't it.

But really, the reason I chose purple was because I was running out of colors. I wish I could say there was some well thought out plan to it, but no.
