Hi! Just thought I'd introduce myself after months of chilling on this awesome forum. I currently have a YA contemporary novel out. So far I've recieved 4 full requests - 1 was rejected (unsurprisingly, after having a deeper look into that agent's list), 1 resulted in an R+R, and 2 have yet to get back to me. One of the full requests was INCREDIBLY enthusiastic, and she's my top pick for an agent, so the suspense has been literally destroying me ... but thank God for this website! So good to know that I'm not alone in my waiting pain.

(Also, I am working on a new MG novel so that helps!)
Anyway. Looking forward to hanging out with you all and learning heaps about writing!!

Thank you! Hope the first post didn't sound braggy - I have received an embarrassing amount of rejections, so my percentage isn't great, but at least it's better than the last monstrosity I tried to put out into the world  embarrassed3

Welcome!  Once you sign - and I'm confident you will - you can submit your history for the success story section of this site. Patrick would love it.

That's so exciting that your book is receiving positive attention! I'm new to this forum community as well, but already it's been a positive experience.
