As you can tell from my name I am new to this world. I only started to write about a year ago. After a few rejections I was beginning to get discouraged but coming here and knowing I can get advice on how to move forward has brought my fighting spirit back. I write historical romance. Haven't seen much of that around but I enjoy reading different genres and look forward to giving my input when I can.

Hi Welcome Hi
If you're new to this, you should research your genre; know which agents are looking and/or enjoy such books; know which authors write similar ideas, and read up on them. Many agents that represent Romance possibly represent your style, as long as there's no sci-fi/fantasy within. Historical fiction and/or Romance agents. Enjoy QueryTracker, there's a great community here.
