Judging an agent by recent sales

There are several agents I've bookmarked to query but they don't have a lot of recent sales, at least according to Publisher's Marketplace -- some of these agents don't show any deals this year, some seem to average one a year. Is this a red flag or is PM not comprehensive or perhaps there's something else I'm missing

Despite comments to the contrary, there are agents who choose not to report sales on PM. There are different reasons for this. Also, PM charges for these notices. Not much, but still.
PM is a good tool as part of your search. It's one part of many.
