Good places to have your MS critiqued?

I’ve just finished the final draft of my MS (draft six or seven or similar) and I’ve head betas, some developmental editing but, now I am really thinking about getting a professional opinion on at least the first few pages of my manuscript to figure out if it hooks the reader enough, sets up the world effectively etc. Maybe the first 10-35 double spaced pages or so? Do anyone here have any recommendations on what place to have this done/where not to spend your money? I’ve heard good things about scribendi but I also know of manuscript academy, paper true, book pipeline and all these different choices are kind of overwhelming.

I have used The Editorial Department and have been impressed with their professionalism and insight. You can get a mid-level evaluation of your first 2,500 words for only $75.00 (3 cents/word). However, a line edit is 14 cents/word. Here's their website:
