Revise and Re-submit - have you ever got an offer based off this?

I got a revise and re-submit earlier this year and just re-submitted. I don't want to get my hopes up. Have you ever had success after re-submitting with their suggested edits? I won't be devastated if it doesn't happen, I think the book is much stronger, but it'd be good to know.

Yes. My current agent relationship began with a R&R.
But usually they do not become offers, (same from editors, BTW) so you are right to be guarded. But also be happy. it is a GOOD thing

I did the edits and it helped but ultimately it was a no: "This is really strong and the edits are well done but unfortunately I still don't connect with it."

Sorry to hear Mysticatical. That's frustrating. I hope your book finds the right agent soon.
