Heart of the Mountain, Breath of the Water. It will eventually be a 3-part series but I've only begun writing Part 2. The first five pages are in the forum for that if you want to take a look. Neddy is an impatient young girl who doesn’t always pay attention to the lessons her teacher, a Golum, is trying to give. Ready or not, it is time for her quest to begin. She must find a hero before she can complete her transition into the Woman of the Galenwood. The quest is a tradition, but Neddy’s is different. The Breath and the Heart have been stolen from Moon and Sun, and Neddy and her companions – Spider, Dog and Crow – must find and return them before the transition or the world will fall to Dark.
