I'm a new writer (one previous novel, self-published), looking for representation for my new book, a horror/thriller novel about vampires living incognito in suburbia.

I have a question:

Is it OK if I post my 'query pitch' letter to the forum for critique? The only reason I'm asking is that some forums have it as a rule (albeit sometimes unwritten) that you have to comment on other authors' work (e.g. you have to 'review', say, 5 other authors) before you are allowed to post yourself?

Or can I just dive in?
