A friend of mine mentioned this website to me, I've been poking through it the past few days. Seems like a pretty exciting tool!
Is everyone here looking for representation/publication? Anyone have advice for soliciting agents? It's been a while since I sent out query letters!
Are agencies/agents responsive to short stories? I'm working on a manuscript but I'm not ready to start sending out samples; wondered if soliciting a short story could get my foot in the door somewhere. A good short story seems like an easer way to prove writing ability, anyway.
