Book Stop Literary Agency
« on: October 21, 2007, 10:52:39 AM »
Does anyone know anything about Book Stop Literary Agency?  I found it on P & E, but it doesn't give a lot of info.  They have a website and Kendra Marcus is listed as the agent.  The submission guidelines are listed as send an entire copy of the ms (that's the part that makes me a little nervous, haven't seen any other agents ask for entire ms off the bat).

I think she's legit. Found her website, sounds normal except for the full ms, part, but it looks like she deals in young readers and picture books. I'd email her to see if she reps anything else before I sent an ms. She may ony want to see a partial if she's trying to branch out in to longer works. I found this link too, which mentions her website with a whole lot of other legitimate resources.

Thank you!  I followed the link and found LOTS of helpful info on more than just Book Stop.  Again, thanks, and karma.  I think this is my 5th post so maybe I can give karma now.
