Nope...just a rejection on a query..then..ten seconds later, BAM, my brilliant critmate who's been querying her book for an entire year, with near misses, just like me, finally got her agent. That's four out of six agented in one crit group and 3 out of six in the other. I'm beginning to feel like a real wallflower...*sniff* but I am truly, truly thrilled for her.

Anything new with you?

*pat pat pat*

That just means your time is coming.  It's inevitable!  It will happen!

(And then I will be in your shoes being really happy for you but just a teeny bit more worried about my own fate.  :emb:)

Yeah, thanks. IThis has been going on for two years. And as some people on the forum know, it seemed like I was a hair's breadth away from landing a huge agent back in November, only to have the rug pulled out from under me. But my critmate's been down that road as well, so maybe it does mean I'm closer. I'm certainly not going to hold my breath, though...even with three fulls out.

Another full today, with these words: "Your query was somehow in my spam folder.  Could you email the entire..."

Yikes!  I know we've had versions of this happen around here before.  But... yikes!  I KNEW I preferred snail...

You know, I can't recall if I've ever posted on the Request Log thread, so here it goes.

About four months total into querying THE CAIN LETTERS...

2 fulls
1 partial (rejected)
A bunch of other queries still out
A bunch of rejections

There you go.
