Ah, now I get it.  So what's your take on the dual holiday experience?

JW..that is great!  And I have to agree with whoever said it, that it sounds promising if she emailing you to tell you that she will be finished on Monday.  If she wasn't feeling it...I don;t think she would bother updating you.

SSSSSOOOOOOOO EXCITING!!!!!!

ps.- maybe the toecrossing helped get the update...

Oh yeah..if she's in Australia then our Sunday is her Monday. But now I'm not so sure since I got the email at 2:25 PM which would be 5:25AM in Aussieland. Oh whatever, but her timeline it probably means Christmas morning!

Congrats Jess! On a note, I've stopped sending out queries until I get some feedback on the fulls I still have out (that ending has me worried again.). I bet someone is waiting for Monday!!!!!!!!!

I had sent a proposal to Terry Burns in October 07. He responded today with a rejection. Most of the rejections so far have been just 'one more rejection', but his is really hard, because I really think he would have been the best agent for my genre based upon my research. Oh, well- back to the drawing board.

It's Monday, and someone is STILL waiting.

...and waiting, and waiting, and waiting.

I swear, if I'm at work and you hear back and GG finds out first, I'm gonna cry. :)

You'll here my screams—or the thud as I faint dead away. I'm starting to feel like my mc in Afterside, left to wander in limbo forever.

And Jessica, MAN...what an amazing return rate...you are certain to hit it soon.

Good luck to everyone who's waiting. A shame that waiting is mainly what we do, at least when we're not writing...

By the way, I have two fulls out right now, one to Scott Martin at Trident and one to Joe Veltre at Artists Literary Group. Like you, gypsy, I hesitate to send more queries until at least one of these comes back, though I did read somewhere that if an agent doesn't specifically ask for an exclusive it's okay to double up. All's fair etc. etc.
