I read nathans blog mentioning websites, blogs, etc. Did you guys get a free website or pay to have one made? I dont want to rush and do the wrong thing but I think I need to at least think about getting a website ready.

I blog (obviously) on blogger.
My website is through 1and1.com and I paid the nominal fee until I wanted to upgrade to include HTML code. It's like $30 for six months, I think. I love it and can update it as many times as I want every second.

My trilogy is complete! POSSESSION, SURRENDER, ABANDON, and short stories REGRET and RESIST, are available now wherever books are sold.
My next novel, a YA contemporary novel, ELEVATED, is coming on February 18, 2014.

Blogspot for me.
Website is from Microsoft Office Live. I've had it a couple of years for free, but MS is saying they'll be charging from now on. $14.95/year isn't too bad and I don't have to redo everything. The tools they provide are great and do not require any programming ability.

I blog through blogger as well
, but when the time comes to make an author website, I'm going to pay like $50-$100 to have someone design it for me. I know I could make my own, but I seriously doubt that it would look awesome and professional (due to my tragic lack of computer skills.)
Totally a personal choice thing there.
