 :hijack:  What a lovely idea, munley.  I've also excised a few characters or what I consider to be particularly spiffy dialogue, etc., from various works and always felt as if I were leaving a puppy on the side of a busy highway.  Perhaps I won't make it as final as head stone; keeping hope alive that I'll one day be able to CPR them into existence.   :yes:

I cut a favorite scene and turned it into the basis of a whole new novel.  It was the inspiration for Monsoon Rain / Blue Anchor.

Save your darlings in a great stuff folder!  (And remember to label them clearly so you can find them later. :wink:)
