Should I go to one?
« on: January 24, 2008, 10:52:08 PM »
Are there any good writers' conferences in the los angeles area, that I as a teenager can attend and benefit from? I want to talk to agents and writers and really get introduced into this world.

By the way, as a side note, I've been referred to Michael Mejias at Writers House, with whom I spoke over the phone about a week ago. I'm itching to finish editing everything so I can begin querying!!!!!

teen-writer, I realize this is too late for this year, but every year SCBWI holds its Summer Convention in Los Angeles.
It is usually jammed packed with agents, publishers, writers etc.
Alas I didn't find out about the conference until I moved from the area.

You might want to check into for next year
