Yippee 2 fulls and a partial

HI Everyone,

I just introduced myself yesterday, mentioned that I've worked up a query... and, ahem, a paranormal romance book. ;-) I woke up this morning to 2 requests and another came in this morning. I've alreayd been through this query hell before, so I plod a ahead cautiously, but with a smile.

For those who commented on my post in "newbies," thank you for reaching out to me. For those who have shared their stories on this site--thank you--you are inspiring!

Thanks everyone! And no worries to those who didn't say hi yet--I'm still learning the rules and ropes. Ack!

My MC is a Scrivener--an ancient group of tattoo artists who have the ability to ink curses or powers into the skin of their patrons. As well, they can give Deathmarks that are fulfilled by Wardens (ex. psychopomps, grim reapers). 

That's the premise. The rest is romance and mythology and blood and adventure and... well, you get the idea.  ;D

No way!  I actually had the idea a few months ago when my stepdaughter got a tatoo - I said to my sister wouldn't it be cool to write a YA story about tatoos that have either poison or nanotechology and the town is using them to control the teens!  Nothing ancient in my idea, though - yours sounds great!  Post your query in the query section if you havent so we can check it out!

Kimmy - It might not be an ancient idea, but it sure is cool. It has a science fiction feel to it... perhaps you could develop it into a post-apoc or dystopian YA story--they're selling big right now. Just saying.  ;D
