I tried putting a new one on, but it didn't work for some reason, and I'm currently too lazy to put my old one back. So maybe later today...

I'm almost done with Perfume. Such writing! And what a character!

After I finish, I may not pick up another book, because my schedule becomes cruel and inhuman in a week. But, if I ever see a second of free time, I will be reading Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. It looks like an amusing read.

Good Omens was SUCH a good book! :)

Good Omens is about...oh god, you just have to read it...it's...it's...I seriously can't even explain it! But it's the best. :rof3:
Basically it's a parody of the movie The Omen. It's the Apocalypse with humor.

Ooh good you got Stardust. I think I have to make a campaign to get Neil Gaimain's sales up. He's already a bestselling author, but still a lot of people have never even heard of him.

Stardust is good. It's quite odd. The writing style is for the younger group, but some of the context is a bit more for teens. It reminded me of the books I read when I was in elementary school. And it's a VERY fast read. I just zoomed through it in two days, and I'm a very slow reader.

You've got to read Idlewild. I was wrong about it being like Stardust, which I haven't really spent much time with yet. The closest thing i can think of that it's like is MT Anderson's Feed.

So Dan, have you started Good Omens yet?
I read it in all of 3 days and only while at school, so consequently, I was laughing my head off in the middle of lectures and people stared at me ;D ;D

Yeah I started it. It's really funny, but I often feel lost. So many characters and references. But I guess it's part of the book's flavor. I don't see how I can finish it, though. I have a five hour plane ride coming up, but I need to spend that time studying for history and Spanish (I have two exams the first week of school....)

Yes, mental indeed. I'm going to Hawaii!!! Except I have to leave my family there and fly back home alone early, because I can't afford to miss the beginning of school.  >:( Oh well, I don't much like flying with my family. Sitting for five hours with one brother who pesters me to watch a movie with him, one brother who pesters me to listen to this new awesome song by an artist I hate, one brother who runs around the plane bothering people ... it can get hectic.

Haha but people remember us from planes. One time in Hawaii, this woman walked up to us and said she remembered us from the plane, but we didn't remember her.

When's the first day of school for you Dan? You too I guess JW.
I don't start 'till the 5th. Well, actually the official first day of school is September 4, but sophomores, juniors and seniors don't have to go on the first day because it's freshman orientation...they get the first day to get used to the school without a bunch of big bad high schoolers running around to confuse them >:D
Though our school isn't all that hard to figure out, its perfectly symmetrical!
