To nudge or not to nudge, that is the question.
« on: December 02, 2010, 10:28:25 AM »
Okay I know that we are supposed to wait 3 months on partials and 6 on fulls but here is my question. I sent a partial 3 months ago but after two months I had made some major revisions on my first chapter based on another agent's feedback. I sent an email to the agent having the partial and asked if they wanted to see the updated manuscript (knowing only the first chapter had been majorly overhauled). They wanted to see it so I sent it. So know, should I restart the clock on the response deadline?

Absolutely yes.  Treat it as a new submission.
