STANDARD AGENCY AGREEMENT
« on: January 05, 2011, 01:35:39 AM »
Has anyone got links to what a standard agency agreement should look like? Agent sent me a contract and I've no idea if it fits the norm.

Thanks!!!

If there is anyone agented/ published out there who would be willing to answer a couple more specific questions, could they please let me know? There are a couple of clauses in the contract that I'm not sure about and would like some help with. (The contract is only a page long.)

Don't sign anything you don't understand.

Sally Stuart (http://stuartmarket.com/default.aspx) and Susan Titus Osborne are two industry professionals who will, for a fee, review a literary agency contract. I may know of some others as well if you need other names.

Ahhhh.  Mr. Ross.  How I wish you were interested in fiction.  I'd love to add your name to the ones who have already rejected me.  I'm just on agent #2 so far, but...with all the errors my email program has been doing to my query letters, I'm afraid to try it again.
