What hath Lannie wrought...?
« on: June 30, 2011, 03:33:20 PM »
I cannot believe I actually broke down and did this, but... http://iolanthewoulff.blogspot.com/

I feel the way my cat does when I turn on the vaccum cleaner... like I want to race under the bed, climb up into the box springs and hide until nightfall.

I feel about ten years old when I say this, but I'll be your friend if you be mine? ;)

I have no idea how something like this could have happened, but all we can do is to try to make the best of it.

Where is Lannie Woulff and what have you done with her?  :draw:

Seriously, it's wonderful. Well done - of course.

Martine, at my age, I'd settle for feeling about forty-five!

I'd be happy to follow your blog, but I can't find the right button to push. Where is it? (Those RSS things just bring up a page full of HTML or cyber-runes or alien chicken-scratchings...)

BTW, if you've signed up for mine, something's amiss, because your name doesn't show... ( I really dislike this techie stuff.)  ???

I had that very same reaction kicking off my blog.  I thought I wouldn't feel that way, because the blog has a very strict construct-- it's a blog about book publicity, not about me.  But even so, the dust bunnies under the bed are calling to me.

And... I just read your latest post.  And I sure hope you're feeling at least a little bit better now.

So sorry,

Lannie and Tradergirl, I signed up to follow you both (actually, I was already following TG).  And I added nascentnovelist to my Google Reader.  I just started blogging recently too about marketing yourself as a writer.  Please come check me out: laurabwriter.blogspot.com

It should be this: https://nascentnovelist.wordpress.com/feed/

Otherwise I don't know. I'm not good with the technical stuff either. :(

BTW, if you've signed up for mine, something's amiss, because your name doesn't show...

I have, but I've done it through my google reader, so I might not show up. I'll try to sign up as my blog as well. (But at least I'm reading your stuff). :)

If you're Laura B, yes indeed! (No pic, though.)

I also just subscribed to something called a "feed" on your blog, which I hope is the equivalent of being a follower. Not that I don't "feed" enough already... up 8 lbs over my 365-day low weight.   :(

Am following you, Lannie.  Nice job.  If you're having difficulty keeping the poetry brief, perhaps putting your hand to haiku would offer the constraints you need.   "I was working on the proof of one of my poems all the morning, and took out a comma. In the afternoon I put it back again."
