Chronological? Or is there a better word?
« on: July 16, 2011, 12:56:34 PM »
Can chronological be used to describe magazines that are arranged by date of issue? Ordinarily it's used for time.

Does a better word come to mind for anyone out there?

"Chronological" is fine, girl. In referring to a stack of magazines, for instance, they would be arranged in ascending or descending chronological order.

OCD, anyone?

I agree chronological is fine. An alternative would be "by date" or "by publication date."

You could say "catalogued."
