Always verify publisher's information before sending your query. Verify the publisher's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the publisher is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for publisher information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the publisher's website.

Leave comments about your experiences with this publisher, or read what other authors have to say.

to slwaine and others who might wonder: I have found the "marketing" to be nonexistent. It consists mainly of some "Friday Follow" tweets in which I am expected to participate, much to the annoyance of my followers (I actually lose followers after retweeting these obnoxious things.) I have found they have not done one thing for me I could not have done myself, and better, on KDP. Next time, I will look for a publisher that has something to say about their marketing results, rather than about being "author friendly."

Hello, Just wondered for those of you that have contracts and books released with them, if you find the 'marketing' is good for your books? Thanks.
