I really appreciate that you think we might be a great fit, but there are other agents at the agency with a much greater capacity for new clients. As a writer myself, I completely understand how sometimes long and frustrating and even discouraging the query process can be. I queried for years myself. The best advice I can give is to take a chance on newer agents (my agent wasn’t even an agent yet when I first started querying… neither was I), as we all were once one (& the ones on my team are trained and mentored by me).
