I am interested in both adult and YA stories that aren’t afraid of doing something new within their genre or taking risks with narrative structure. Underrepresented voices and queer leading characters are appreciated even outside of romance. Genres I’m mostly looking for include science fiction, fantasy, LitRPG, horror, and romance (all in both adult and YA). I’m also happy to work with hybrid authors.

Things that get my attention:

-Unique narrative structure that enhances the plot, theme, and characters

-Defining a character’s moral code and then pushing them to the edge

-Mechanics/Magic Systems that are tied closely to character arcs

-Defining scenes where one could imagine a music score kicking in as the MC readies up for a huge confrontation
