Thank you for including me in your search for representation. As one of those weird people who experience anxiety if they’re not at inbox zero by the end of the day—and as someone who knows what it’s like to wait months in the query trenches—I try to respond to queries within 24-48 hours. It doesn’t always happen, but it’s always my goal.

That doesn’t mean I don’t read and consider each query and sample extremely carefully. In fact, I tend to agonize over them probably as much as you agonized over writing them.

But I do tend to know fairly quickly if something is not for me. And since I go through Query Manager several times per day, I’m able to get back to you all as quickly as possible while hopefully finding some wonderful manuscripts to request and read!
