I received an extraordinarily kind and encouraging rejection on my full manuscript (99k adult romcom) detailing what she enjoyed as well as what held her back. She emphasized this was a near miss and seems confident another agent will make an offer.
Though I am of course disappointed, I appreciate her honesty and the time she spent with my project. In the event the rest of my full requests end up going the same way and I end up back at square one, Maggie will be one of the first agents I query with my next project.
