Response stated that while my novel would be a project she would ordinarily be interested in, she is taking a pause on taking on new projects at the moment. She said she would pass, "for now" and wished me luck on gaining representation. She encouraged me to resubmit when she reopens for queries with this project if still unrepresented or another project that I may be working on in the future.

From her Twitter: authors, I want to read your logline/hook sentence first, not wade through paragraphs about why you’re querying me, the journey of writing your novel, etc. That stuff has a place, but at the END of the query. Ground me in your story as quickly as possible!!!
