Rejected quickly (5 minutes) based on word count alone. While I appreciate a good filter for selection, nearly every novel I have read and enjoyed in my genre meets or exceeds the length of my manuscript. It seems a silly measure to lean too heavily upon without any consumption of the text itself. Silly, but efficient, I suppose.
