Looks like she’s taken middle grade off her genres via the agency website. Anyone who submitted prior planning to wait for a reply or withdrawing their query?

If you haven’t heard back, and you look at the timeline and most of the queries from the same timeframe have had a reply, I would say try to be patient. Agents have a LOT of reading to do, not to mention working on selling and promoting their existing clients.

In fact, if your query is one of the ones with no reply amid a sea of rejections, take that as a win. Jem is one of the few who reply to all queries. I think it is a strong indicator that you are in her maybe pile!

You never know what the process is. Could be that she goes through and collects a bunch of maybes in a particular genre so she can spend a day or two or five looking over all of them in one fell swoop.

Don’t lose hope, and if you get to three months, you can always send a brief and polite nudge.

I see people are waiting past 40 days so I thought I would share this. It's from her query form:
***I will respond to EVERY submission that I receive. Lately, wait times have been slightly longer. Please expect submission-response to be anywhere from a day to 6 months. I do apologize for that. Feel free to nudge me should I take longer than 3 months to check on the status of your query.***
